Welcome
St David’s School offers a British education, with an international flavour, to children between 3 and 11 years of age in Ramstein, Germany.
We sincerely hope that you and your child enjoy your time here and that your child benefits from the purposeful, friendly atmosphere within our school. We are a values-based school and aim to educate the “whole person”. Pupils will be encouraged to develop lively and enquiring minds, a sense of self-esteem and the self-discipline that comes from working in an orderly school environment. We are an open, friendly school and members of staff are always willing to talk to parents. The education of children cannot happen in isolation and we encourage parents to help as their children progress through school. We look forward to welcoming you and working together to achieve the best for all of our children.
John Redman, Headteacher
‘My children have thrived at St David’s School due to the small classes and excellent pupil:staff ratio. The wide range of opportunities provided and the open sessions have made us feel part of the school’
About Us
Our Foundation Stage 1 setting is an educational nursery. We assess every child and tailor our programme to meet individual needs. The sessions are part time and run from 0845hrs to 1145hrs Monday to Friday. Our educational programme follows the early years curriculum guidance for England and uses a mixture of approaches for delivery including aspects of both the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. If you would like to know more or have a tour (virtual or physical) please fill in our expression of interest form here.
Our Foundation Stage 2 children enjoy a carefully tailored environment where they get to play and learn at the same time. Our experienced staff support the development of the ‘whole’ child as they grow in confidence and ability. FS2 commences for children who will turn 5 years old in the school year from the 01st September to the 31st August. FS2 classes are full time and normal school hours are from 0845-1500hrs daily. If you would like to know more or have a tour (virtual or physical) please fill in our expression of interest form here.
Our Year 1 and 2 children follow an exciting programme of activities as they begin to study aspects of our adapted UK National Curriculum. They will take part in a range of activities and begin learning about a wide range of subjects. The early reading and writing skills taught in Foundation Stage are built upon and extended along with a range of other areas. If you would like to know more or have a tour (virtual or physical) please fill in our expression of interest form here.
Our Year 3,4,5 and 6 children continue to follow an exciting programme of activities as they start to move into more formal study of subject areas.
